The Elections and Electoral Registration department is responsible for the preparation and conduct of all elections which take place within the Borough of Milton Keynes.
We also update and maintain the Electoral Register.
You
must be on the Electoral Register to exercise your democratic right to vote in any election. Every time you move you need to update your details on the Electoral Register.
Paying Council Tax does not automatically add you to the Electoral Register.

How were the recent Elections for you?
In order to register to vote you need to be a British or Commonwealth citizen, or a citizen of the Republic of Ireland. If you are a citizen of a European Union country, other than Britain or Ireland, you can register to vote for local government and European Parliamentary elections only. Citizens of any other countries are not eligible to register.
