Hanson Environmental Study Centre

The Hanson Environmental Study Centre is managed and funded by Milton Keynes Council as a schools field study centre and nature reserve.
The Centre's principal service is to provide and teach a range of environmental education programmes for local schools.
The Centre's nature reserve does not have open access, but members of the public who wish to visit can do so by joining our membership scheme.

The Centre itself consists of a classroom/lecture room, a small well-equipped laboratory, a kitchen and toilets (all are accessible by wheelchair users).
A range of day-long structured educational programmes are available for most age groups and Key Stages (but are especially suitable for KS2). They are led by the Centre's well qualified and experienced staff.
Hire of meeting room
On days when we don't have school visits the main room is available to hire for meetings. Max 30. A small kitchen is available, with fridge and microwave, but you will need to make your own catering arrangements. There is also a carousel projector, an ohp and a whiteboard.
