The Falls Prevention Service

The Falls Prevention Service provides specialised assessment and treatment for people who have fallen or who are considered to be at risk of falls.

Falls are not natural or a part of aging and should not be ignored.

Unfortunately not all falls can be prevented, but advice and information can be provided to minimise the risk.

The Milton Keynes Falls Prevention Service comprises a partnership of Milton Keynes Community Health Services, Age UK Milton Keynes and Milton Keynes Council, Milton Keynes Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

  If you, a friend or family member has fallen it is recommended that you contact your GP or another health professional.
  
  You can refer yourself to the falls management service for advice and information in order to try and reduce the risk of further falls.
