The Corporate Leadership Team

The Chief Executive, David Hill (pictured) and his executive directors form the Corporate Leadership Team (CLT). The team operates collectively to hold services to account across the whole council, and some members hold specific statutory responsibilities for services. They are also, with elected members, responsible for delivering the council's vision and values.

The CLT offers strategic direction to ensure the council meets the expectations of councillors and the public.

This involves ensuring policies and practices are in place to provide the best possible services.

The team works with councillors and partner organisations to agree on what needs to be done and how best it can be achieved.
