The Governor Development Team arranges a wide range of training and development opportunities that are designed to provide governors with relevant and up-to-date information and skills to enable them to fulfil their roles effectively and confidently.
The programme is sent to all governors once a year and contains details of courses and other resources available to support the development of governors.
The current training programme is available via the link below. You can view details of the courses available and book your place online.
Governors should note that a decision has to be made 10 days in advance of a course as to whether the course is viable. Please therefore book your place as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
It should be noted that when a governor applies for a course and does not attend, the school will be charged £25.

The main aims of the conference are to give governors the opportunity to hear and be inspired by excellent national speakers and to network with other governors. A tall order but a challenge we have continued to meet!

Whole Governing Body Training Sessions
