Core Strategy Announcement

Planning Policy - Cs PicFollowing the Government's announcement of its intention to abolish Regional Spatial Strategies, at it's meeting on the 8 June 2010, Milton Keynes Council agreed to delay the submission of the MK Core Strategy. The Core Strategy will therefore no longer be submitted in August as previously anticipated.

There is now proposed to be a meeting on 9 September where a further report will be considered which will then be followed by a delegated decision of the relevant Cabinet Member, Councillor Galloway, to formally consider and recommend changes to the Core Strategy which will then be put to full Council for determination on 14 September.

If you interested in making any representation on the proposed changes in writing please send these to Ian Haynes, Chief Spatial Planner ian.haynes@milton-keynes.gov.uk. Similarly, if you wish to address the LDF Advisory Group directly then please contact Ian Haynes.
