Milton Keynes Council has prepared a Design Guide to help raise the quality of new housing developments across the whole of Milton Keynes.

The Central Bletchley Regeneration Strategy has now been adopted as Supplementary Planning Guidance and has been updated in light of comments made during the consultation period.



Central Bletchley Regeneration Strategy

A softer and lighter feel has been given to Bletchley's main shopping street. Kerbs have been reduced and edges curved and deliniated by balls. The ground plain has been given a more uniform treatment which picks out the road, pavements and trees with different paving materials. Overall it gives a pleasant and coherent ambience to the streetscene, which compliments work previously done on the nearby bandstand area.

Following wide ranging consultation and the production of The Conservation Managment Plan the final Area Masterplan and Supplementary Planning Guidance for Bletchley Park has been produced to control development and provide a vision for this site.
