Free swims are a big splash for 8-13's

Voluntary sector support - SwimmingDuring the six week summer holiday over 350 young people (8-13 years) accessed free recreational swims at local pools across Milton Keynes. The activity was such a huge success that Sports Development are offering FREE recreational swims at selected pools during October ½ term.

You Know You (Funding)

The Terrence Higgins Trust (THT) has launched the third round of its Young Leaders project. The project was established in 2007 and aims to encourage young people to take a lead and teach their peers about sex and relationships. The trust is offering grants funded by the Big Lottery Fund of up to £1000 to groups of young people who submit creative and innovative ideas for Sex and Relationship Education (SRE) for their peers. Projects can cover a variety of topics including;
